The word “gospel” means “good tidings,” or “good news.” Briefly stated, the Christian gospel is new life for us as individuals and as community. It is the answer to our questions, and the healer of all that is broken and hurting in the world. It is the promise of God to His creation. The gospel is Christ. Because of its complexity, it is hard to give a complete answer in a few sentences. If you want to know what the gospel is, we invite you on a journey.
